Archive Awareness Month has a dedicated page on the Parliament website, of all places. You can see that in the last 15 years, we had Archive Awareness Month a couple of times, but it was never a yearly thing. I would like to change that and that’s why I started this website.

Together we can make a difference and save the national archives from being in a constant threat of budget cuts, and funds being taken away from us. Contact your local representatives about this issue and tell them you want to see more support for the national archives, because we sure do need it. We’re understaffed and overworked. Let’s not even get started on the pathetic amounts of research being done on the archives. Tell politicians about the importance of archives and don’t let them taken away from us.
